The hut had everything we needed, feeding the alpacas was great fun and Jess and Lee were great hosts. We would definitely recommend this to other people and we have already talked about returning next summer. Thanks again Jess and Lee.

  Lovely stay out in the country. Hut/shower kitchen area very clean.. I am a light sleeper so could hear traffic initially but once I put earplugs in it... read more was fine and it wasn’t a busy road. Would suggest you need a car if you want to get about as there are no paths on the side of the road so not safe to walk. Just a note that you need to bring towels for showering as the literature said towels provided but it’s tea and hand towels only. Jessica was very kind though and loaned us a couple. Lovely brewery a short drive away and of course the alpacas, sheep and chickens were entertaining. It just felt very relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side the night we arrived as it would have been nice to chill outside a bit more than what we got chance to... But that's the UK for you!
Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay away for a couple of nights. The hut had everything that we needed and the stay was as advertised/expected.
Only slight negative, for me, was the road noise as it wasn't as remote as what I had imagined and I'm a light sleeper. However, my partner slept brilliantly and didn't hear a thing!
The place is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sweet little staycation for a night or so.

The grill hut is fantastic if you want to do your own BBQ or make your own pizza's !
This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

Highlight recommended if you need a break from the world right now! A lovely and peaceful location, we visited Wallings Ice Cream, The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre to watch a film and to The Cartford Inn for a delicious dinner- all within a short half hour drive.

We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip!   We stayed at the Grill Hut for 2 nights. It was our first trip since the whole Covid thing. I can honestly say it was perfect. Jess and her family... read more were all lovely and welcoming, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hut had everything you needed. Feeding the alpacas, sheep n chickens was a joy, they're all very tame which I'm sure anyone with young family's would love.
We're hoping to visit again very soon.

We had marhsmallows and bubbly waiting on arrival, and the fairy lights are so lovely lit up in the night with the outdoor swing where I would have my morning coffee. Really appreciated all the welcoming touches from Jess and Lee who were always available to help and respond quickly, excellent hosts and would recommend for any special occasion!
