We... read more loved that the ceiling was painted as the night sky, and the fairy lights twinkling with the fire in the evening. Great shower and bathroom/kitchen facilities with hot running water and flushing toilet. We had an amazing weekend.

The location is beautiful and the countryside view is stunning. Definitely make time to visit the local Ice Cream Parlour, which has a cafe as well as takeaway. If you are looking for shopping, maybe give Blackpool a go, we drove to Lancaster and the drive was lovely but the city centre was disappointing. We also tried to get a taxi to the pub recommended by Jessica, but we’re too far out for them to pick us up, so make sure you have a designated driver.

We had marhsmallows and bubbly waiting on arrival, and the fairy lights are so lovely lit up in the night with the outdoor swing where I would have my morning coffee. Really appreciated all the welcoming touches from Jess and Lee who were always available to help and respond quickly, excellent hosts and would recommend for any special occasion!

We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! Jess and her family... read more were all lovely and welcoming, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hut had everything you needed. Feeding the alpacas, sheep n chickens was a joy, they're all very tame which I'm sure anyone with young family's would love.
We're hoping to visit again very soon.

Such a great location for exploring, we... read more managed to fit in a farm trip (Greenland’s Farm Village - where you can feed pigs, goats and ponies) a coastal walk (Silverdale - untouched beauty) and the local brewery (Farmyard Ales), not to mention feeding the alpacas (on-site!) but the highlight really is the hut itself. In here you could be anywhere in the world, such a perfect escape. We are already planning our next visit!

  Absolutely amazing stay at the Grill Hut. Jess was on hand via text for anything we needed and the wood “shop” was right outside the door. We didn’t have cash... read more but Jess provided bank details so it wasn’t an issue. We were wondering what we would need to take but there is everything you need to cook and the shower was better than most hotels I have stayed in. There is an under counter fridge to store plenty of food and drinks. Feeding the llamas was a blast and feed was provided on arrival. Thank you Jess, will definitely be back! 😊

  This was our second visit to Sand Villa Grill Hut. It was even better then we remembered, my partner and I loved it so much last year that this year... read more he chose it to propose to me there. The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. Thank you to Jess and Lee for being such wonderful and friendly hosts.

Cannot fault this place at all it had everything you may need down to the T. The fire pit was amazing better in person and we cooked steaks we bought locally the first night on the open fire and hired a pizza oven from Jess on the second night where we made garlic bread and margarita pizzas. So quiet and private considering the location and what else is around you. The outdoor swing is lovely I had a bacon bun and a brew in the morning sat on the swing!! Also the shower is second to none definitely an amazing experience to try.
