We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! We had the best time. From our trip to fill up on all the meats from countrystyle farm shop in Lancaster, to watching the rugby at farm yard ales and of course feeding the Alpacas. It was perfect and we will absolutely be making it a tradition to come every year. ❤️

  This was our second visit to Sand Villa Grill Hut. It was even better then we remembered, my partner and I loved it so much last year that this year... read more he chose it to propose to me there. The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. Thank you to Jess and Lee for being such wonderful and friendly hosts.

Put all that together with amazing hosts who would go the extra mile to make their guests happy (especially Hattie, who welcomed us and showed us around) makes this place the best we’ve ever stayed at.   What a quaint place to stay, so beautiful and romantic. The decoration above the bed at the sleeping end of the hut is amazing. It you get chance to visit Farm Yard Brew Co. it's walking distance and just great.
We enjoyed feeding the alpacas before we left too.

  Perfect little cosy cabin we had booked for the bank hol weekend 🥰 pictures do not do this place justice it’s absolutely unreal and having the alpacas right on your... read more doorstep is such a bonus as they’re so fluffy, friendly and cute, I couldn’t stop laughing at them, the brown one was my fave!! Cannot fault this place at all it had everything you may need down to the T. The fire pit was amazing better in person and we cooked steaks we bought locally the first night on the open fire and hired a pizza oven from Jess on the second night where we made garlic bread and margarita pizzas. So quiet and private considering the location and what else is around you. The outdoor swing is lovely I had a bacon bun and a brew in the morning sat on the swing!! Also the shower is second to none definitely an amazing experience to try.

Jessica went above and beyond making our short stay something to remember, I had told... read more her that I was bringing my 9 year old son and the stunning lodge we stayed in had some wonderful touches, so Halloween themed blankets, lots of snacks amd a pumpkin to carve to name just a few. Loved it, and more importantly so did my son!
