The place was spotless, facilities were amazing and Jessica was always at hand to answer any questions we had. We spent lots of time at the alpaca field feeding them and they were just beautiful. We have recommended you to everybody we know!

  when we arrived the grill hut was open and ready for us to make ourselves at home. the grill hut is super cosy and even given the "lovely" British weather... read more (rain and wind) it didn't disrupt our stay at all. if anything it made it better. snuggled up by the fire pit.
the animals are super friendly and very characteristic. hope the lil brown alpaca gets well soon though x
making pizzas was a lovely little touch and really fun to do together.
we enjoyed a lovely local walk with beautiful scenery.
and probably one of the best nights sleep we had.

  This was our second visit to Sand Villa Grill Hut. It was even better then we remembered, my partner and I loved it so much last year that this year... read more he chose it to propose to me there. The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. Thank you to Jess and Lee for being such wonderful and friendly hosts.

Such a great location for exploring, we... read more managed to fit in a farm trip (Greenland’s Farm Village - where you can feed pigs, goats and ponies) a coastal walk (Silverdale - untouched beauty) and the local brewery (Farmyard Ales), not to mention feeding the alpacas (on-site!) but the highlight really is the hut itself. In here you could be anywhere in the world, such a perfect escape. We are already planning our next visit!

Everything... read more about this place is perfect, the hut it’s self is so cosy and beautifully decorated, the open fire for cooking is so much fun to us and the cookbooks provided were extremely helpful and lead to excellent nacho making! Although you are on a campsite the whole experience felt so private and secluded, feeding the alpacas was brilliant they are so friendly! Lee and Jess really have thought of everything to make the stay truly wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.

We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! Again everything has been thought of all you need is food, towels and clothes and you wouldn’t need to leave the hut. It’s beautiful and warm relaxing and beautiful furnished highly recommend for a romantic couple get away or like us if your family is staying in the Belle tent brilliant family getaway. We went for a lovely walk at the local nature reserve aswell which was nice but there’s plenty to do local otherwise relax and just enjoy the animals feeding the alpacas was one of the highlights of our stay thanks again for a great visit we will be back for sure x

The accommodation is very well equipped & the 'pre-arrival' information is very informative & useful. The owners were very obliging although they have covered everything so there was very little need to disturb them. Feeding the animals was an added treasure. The only downside for us was it being next to a road (which we didn't realise when booking). Although this isnt a busy main road, it becomes busier around rush hour first thing in the morning and again later on, and so we were woken up by traffic. As we live on a main road we wanted something a bit quieter in the mornings. But thank you for everything! Would recommend.

The lancaster Brewery was so great too, treating ourselves to some amazing beers. We visited Blackpool for a day, then the Lake District, driving through Hardknots Pass... That was a bit hairy. And we went to Morecombe Bay in an evening. The alpacas/sheep and chickens were so funny and great to feed. We cooked delicious steaks, alabama pork shops and coffee and pepper chicken skewers all from the Lancaster butchers. Enjoyed beers and Gin by the fire and ate outside at the little table. Fabulous stay, very relaxing, cozy and we were lucky to have the weather too! We would recommend this place in a flash. Thank you Jess and Lee.

Jess and her family... read more were all lovely and welcoming, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hut had everything you needed. Feeding the alpacas, sheep n chickens was a joy, they're all very tame which I'm sure anyone with young family's would love.
We're hoping to visit again very soon.
