We didn’t have cash... read more but Jess provided bank details so it wasn’t an issue. We were wondering what we would need to take but there is everything you need to cook and the shower was better than most hotels I have stayed in. There is an under counter fridge to store plenty of food and drinks. Feeding the llamas was a blast and feed was provided on arrival. Thank you Jess, will definitely be back! 😊

It you get chance to visit Farm Yard Brew Co. it's walking distance and just great.

The accommodation is very well equipped & the 'pre-arrival' information is very informative & useful. The owners were very obliging although they have covered everything so there was very little need to disturb them. Feeding the animals was an added treasure. We would certainly love to return again, & recommend to anyone xx

Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side the night we arrived as it would have been nice to chill outside a bit more than what we got chance to... But that's the UK for you!
Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay away for a couple of nights. The hut had everything that we needed and the stay was as advertised/expected.
Only slight negative, for me, was the road noise as it wasn't as remote as what I had imagined and I'm a light sleeper. However, my partner slept brilliantly and didn't hear a thing!
The place is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sweet little staycation for a night or so.

It was basically a warmer, comfier option to camping for us. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a 4.5 hour drive for us, so we had hoped for better, but we made the best of it.

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

  Lovely stay out in the country. Hut/shower kitchen area very clean.. I am a light sleeper so could hear traffic initially but once I put earplugs in it... read more was fine and it wasn’t a busy road. Would suggest you need a car if you want to get about as there are no paths on the side of the road so not safe to walk. Just a note that you need to bring towels for showering as the literature said towels provided but it’s tea and hand towels only. Jessica was very kind though and loaned us a couple. Lovely brewery a short drive away and of course the alpacas, sheep and chickens were entertaining. It just felt very relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
