We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! We loved sitting by the fire and cooking our tea over it. We got the pizza package on one night and I really recommend it - delicious pizzas, good fun and definitely worth paying extra for. Jess was a brilliant host, super friendly and very responsive. Can't wait to find an excuse to come and stay again!

Nice touches to have an honesty box on site, we purchased some fresh eggs which were yummy. A very relaxing stay, we will be back!

Lee and Jess were friendly hosts without being intrusive. The little extras they provided were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The hut has everything you need for a weekend break. The flushing toilet and outdoor, electric shower had great pressure and worked perfectly. Both are enclosed and the shower is a generous size so perfect for tall guests. Cleanliness is brilliant and there was everything you should need to feel covid safe.
Feeding the Alpaca and the other animals further added to the charm of our stay and I can only imagine that children would adore having resident animals during their holiday.
We had the most enchanting time and the lovely memories of Sandvilla and the grill hut will stay with us forever ♥

  Really lovely getaway. perfect place to relax. Pizza box was so great. Could have been more secluded from other campsite users. Bring slippers and dressing gown.

  This a place is absolutely fabulous! If you are wanting to completely relax and you love to see and feed alpacas, sheep and hens then you will love this place... read more !
But if you just want relax and fall alseep with a logs burning in a cosy little hut .... then this place is for you !
The grill hut is fantastic if you want to do your own BBQ or make your own pizza's !
This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

  Sandvilla Gril hut is truly a magical and incredible experience. Jessica and Lee are such wonderful and accommodating hosts. We couldn’t have had a better time if we tried! Everything... read more about this place is perfect, the hut it’s self is so cosy and beautifully decorated, the open fire for cooking is so much fun to us and the cookbooks provided were extremely helpful and lead to excellent nacho making! Although you are on a campsite the whole experience felt so private and secluded, feeding the alpacas was brilliant they are so friendly! Lee and Jess really have thought of everything to make the stay truly wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

  where to start with such a good weekend away, before we had even got to the hut I asked Jessica for some help to get some flowers for my girlfriend,... read more she hooked me up with a florist and even collected the flowers and placed them in the hut with no extra fee! Jessica also left some nibbles on the bed and wine on the side which is just what we needed after the long drive.
The check in was easy and no contact with the host was needed, althought a pack with everything we needed to know was in the hut waiting for us (this contained contact info, local amenities, takeout menus and much more)
The hut itself was immaculate, with cute decor and fairy lights that set the mood for any occasion.
The hut can get cold at night but soon warms up with the electric heater and/or the fire pit (which you can also BBQ on!!)
Overall we had an amazing stay.
finally Jess noticed my gf had left her rings in the hut and has arranged for them to be posted back to us with no fee... what an amazing host 🙂
