Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side the night we arrived as it would have been nice to chill outside a bit more than what we got chance to... But that's the UK for you!
Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay away for a couple of nights. The hut had everything that we needed and the stay was as advertised/expected.
Only slight negative, for me, was the road noise as it wasn't as remote as what I had imagined and I'm a light sleeper. However, my partner slept brilliantly and didn't hear a thing!
The place is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sweet little staycation for a night or so.

The cabin itself was even better than the pictures! The indoor grill made it extra cozy, and we loved the pizza package—baking our own pizzas in the outdoor oven was such a fun experience. Another highlight was the animals. My fiancée loves alpacas, so we were happy to see goats, sheep, and chickens too. Jessica, the owner, even gave us food to feed them, which made it even more special.

Check-out was smooth, and even though we left a little later, it wasn’t a problem. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing stay—perfect for escaping the city. We’d love to come back!

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

We had marhsmallows and bubbly waiting on arrival, and the fairy lights are so lovely lit up in the night with the outdoor swing where I would have my morning coffee. Really appreciated all the welcoming touches from Jess and Lee who were always available to help and respond quickly, excellent hosts and would recommend for any special occasion!

We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip!
