We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! We had the best time. From our trip to fill up on all the meats from countrystyle farm shop in Lancaster, to watching the rugby at farm yard ales and of course feeding the Alpacas. It was perfect and we will absolutely be making it a tradition to come every year. ❤️

The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. The owners were very obliging although they have covered everything so there was very little need to disturb them. Feeding the animals was an added treasure. We loved sitting by the fire and cooking our tea over it. We got the pizza package on one night and I really recommend it - delicious pizzas, good fun and definitely worth paying extra for. Jess was a brilliant host, super friendly and very responsive. Can't wait to find an excuse to come and stay again!

It you get chance to visit Farm Yard Brew Co. it's walking distance and just great.
We enjoyed feeding the alpacas before we left too.

  We had a lovely stay in the Hut and all the little touches were greatly appreciated.
It was a first for myself and my partner when it came to feeding... read more animals but we really enjoyed ourselves.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side the night we arrived as it would have been nice to chill outside a bit more than what we got chance to... But that's the UK for you!
Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay away for a couple of nights. The hut had everything that we needed and the stay was as advertised/expected.
Only slight negative, for me, was the road noise as it wasn't as remote as what I had imagined and I'm a light sleeper. However, my partner slept brilliantly and didn't hear a thing!
The place is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sweet little staycation for a night or so.

It was basically a warmer, comfier option to camping for us. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a 4.5 hour drive for us, so we had hoped for better, but we made the best of it.

Feeding the alpacas, sheep n chickens was a joy, they're all very tame which I'm sure anyone with young family's would love.
We're hoping to visit again very soon.
