  Cosy little hut near the coast and a great experience with the open fire for cooking.

  Lovely stay out in the country. Hut/shower kitchen area very clean.. I am a light sleeper so could hear traffic initially but once I put earplugs in it... read more was fine and it wasn’t a busy road. Would suggest you need a car if you want to get about as there are no paths on the side of the road so not safe to walk. Just a note that you need to bring towels for showering as the literature said towels provided but it’s tea and hand towels only. Jessica was very kind though and loaned us a couple. Lovely brewery a short drive away and of course the alpacas, sheep and chickens were entertaining. It just felt very relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The only downside for us was it being next to a road (which we didn't realise when booking). Although this isnt a busy main road, it becomes busier around rush hour first thing in the morning and again later on, and so we were woken up by traffic. As we live on a main road we wanted something a bit quieter in the mornings. But thank you for everything! Would recommend.

Such a great location for exploring, we... read more managed to fit in a farm trip (Greenland’s Farm Village - where you can feed pigs, goats and ponies) a coastal walk (Silverdale - untouched beauty) and the local brewery (Farmyard Ales), not to mention feeding the alpacas (on-site!) but the highlight really is the hut itself. In here you could be anywhere in the world, such a perfect escape. We are already planning our next visit!

Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side the night we arrived as it would have been nice to chill outside a bit more than what we got chance to... But that's the UK for you!
Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay away for a couple of nights. The hut had everything that we needed and the stay was as advertised/expected.
Only slight negative, for me, was the road noise as it wasn't as remote as what I had imagined and I'm a light sleeper. However, my partner slept brilliantly and didn't hear a thing!
The place is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sweet little staycation for a night or so.

Again everything has been thought of all you need is food, towels and clothes and you wouldn’t need to leave the hut. It’s beautiful and warm relaxing and beautiful furnished highly recommend for a romantic couple get away or like us if your family is staying in the Belle tent brilliant family getaway. We went for a lovely walk at the local nature reserve aswell which was nice but there’s plenty to do local otherwise relax and just enjoy the animals feeding the alpacas was one of the highlights of our stay thanks again for a great visit we will be back for sure x

  Perfect little cosy cabin we had booked for the bank hol weekend 🥰 pictures do not do this place justice it’s absolutely unreal and having the alpacas right on your... read more doorstep is such a bonus as they’re so fluffy, friendly and cute, I couldn’t stop laughing at them, the brown one was my fave!! Cannot fault this place at all it had everything you may need down to the T. The fire pit was amazing better in person and we cooked steaks we bought locally the first night on the open fire and hired a pizza oven from Jess on the second night where we made garlic bread and margarita pizzas. So quiet and private considering the location and what else is around you. The outdoor swing is lovely I had a bacon bun and a brew in the morning sat on the swing!! Also the shower is second to none definitely an amazing experience to try.
