Lee and Jess were friendly hosts without being intrusive. The little extras they provided were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The hut has everything you need for a weekend break. The flushing toilet and outdoor, electric shower had great pressure and worked perfectly. Both are enclosed and the shower is a generous size so perfect for tall guests. Cleanliness is brilliant and there was everything you should need to feel covid safe.
Feeding the Alpaca and the other animals further added to the charm of our stay and I can only imagine that children would adore having resident animals during their holiday.
We had the most enchanting time and the lovely memories of Sandvilla and the grill hut will stay with us forever ♥

  The BBQ hut is amazing and beautiful little space, well I say little it has apple room for 2 people to sleep and we have six people in there sat... read more round the fire eating and drinking it was simply lovely and beautiful space. Again everything has been thought of all you need is food, towels and clothes and you wouldn’t need to leave the hut. It’s beautiful and warm relaxing and beautiful furnished highly recommend for a romantic couple get away or like us if your family is staying in the Belle tent brilliant family getaway. We went for a lovely walk at the local nature reserve aswell which was nice but there’s plenty to do local otherwise relax and just enjoy the animals feeding the alpacas was one of the highlights of our stay thanks again for a great visit we will be back for sure x

We looked forward to feeding the alpacas Evey day, and made use of the little "Shop", bringing home some alpaca wool for 50p! Very welcomed relaxing break. Would recommend to anyone.

We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! Cannot fault this place at all it had everything you may need down to the T. The fire pit was amazing better in person and we cooked steaks we bought locally the first night on the open fire and hired a pizza oven from Jess on the second night where we made garlic bread and margarita pizzas. So quiet and private considering the location and what else is around you. The outdoor swing is lovely I had a bacon bun and a brew in the morning sat on the swing!! Also the shower is second to none definitely an amazing experience to try.

The only downside for us was it being next to a road (which we didn't realise when booking). Although this isnt a busy main road, it becomes busier around rush hour first thing in the morning and again later on, and so we were woken up by traffic. As we live on a main road we wanted something a bit quieter in the mornings. But thank you for everything! Would recommend.

It is fairly isolated but was exactly what we were looking for.

This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

The place was spotless, facilities were amazing and Jessica was always at hand to answer any questions we had. We spent lots of time at the alpaca field feeding them and they were just beautiful. We have recommended you to everybody we know!

No distractions and a wonderful little place.

  Lovely stay out in the country. Hut/shower kitchen area very clean.. I am a light sleeper so could hear traffic initially but once I put earplugs in it... read more was fine and it wasn’t a busy road. Would suggest you need a car if you want to get about as there are no paths on the side of the road so not safe to walk. Just a note that you need to bring towels for showering as the literature said towels provided but it’s tea and hand towels only. Jessica was very kind though and loaned us a couple. Lovely brewery a short drive away and of course the alpacas, sheep and chickens were entertaining. It just felt very relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
