  The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, romantic & enjoyable. We were lucky enough to have pleasant evenings making & cooking pizzas outside, & later enjoy... read more the warmth & comfort of the fire pit indoors. The accommodation is very well equipped & the 'pre-arrival' information is very informative & useful. The owners were very obliging although they have covered everything so there was very little need to disturb them. Feeding the animals was an added treasure. We would certainly love to return again, & recommend to anyone xx

The only downside for us was it being next to a road (which we didn't realise when booking). Although this isnt a busy main road, it becomes busier around rush hour first thing in the morning and again later on, and so we were woken up by traffic. As we live on a main road we wanted something a bit quieter in the mornings. But thank you for everything! Would recommend.

  Absolutely fab place to stay. Jess and Lee are so lovely, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We visited the butchers at Lancaster Leisure Park, along with the 40,000sq... read more ft of antiques and collectables place. The lancaster Brewery was so great too, treating ourselves to some amazing beers. We visited Blackpool for a day, then the Lake District, driving through Hardknots Pass... That was a bit hairy. And we went to Morecombe Bay in an evening. The alpacas/sheep and chickens were so funny and great to feed. We cooked delicious steaks, alabama pork shops and coffee and pepper chicken skewers all from the Lancaster butchers. Enjoyed beers and Gin by the fire and ate outside at the little table. Fabulous stay, very relaxing, cozy and we were lucky to have the weather too! We would recommend this place in a flash. Thank you Jess and Lee.

The grill hut is fantastic if you want to do your own BBQ or make your own pizza's !
This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

Nice touches to have an honesty box on site, we purchased some fresh eggs which were yummy. A very relaxing stay, we will be back!

  Absolutely amazing stay at the Grill Hut. Jess was on hand via text for anything we needed and the wood “shop” was right outside the door. We didn’t have cash... read more but Jess provided bank details so it wasn’t an issue. We were wondering what we would need to take but there is everything you need to cook and the shower was better than most hotels I have stayed in. There is an under counter fridge to store plenty of food and drinks. Feeding the llamas was a blast and feed was provided on arrival. Thank you Jess, will definitely be back! 😊

The effort Jessica went to is unbelievable. To pumpkin carving, sweets, local beer... read more and Halloween decorations. You can tell her heart and soul goes into making the guests feel at home and welcomed.

  Such an amazing little hut overlooking the countryside. Plenty of amenities and a great experience feeding the farm animals next door. We would definitely recommend to anyone! 🙂

  We have just gotten back from a relaxing night away. As busy parents we were looking for somewhere scenic, relaxing and with plenty to do. We felt welcomed from the... read more start, left some lovely extras and the hut was spotless and cosy. We had an explore, fed the goats and checked out the pub pod (a lovely extra touch). We then made our pizzas, ate them outside and then wondered back to the pub pod to sit outside, play some games & watch the sun set. We then went back to the hut, lit the fire and relaxed. We slept well and felt refreshed the next day. We enjoyed our breakfast outside & had a slow morning before getting ready to leave.

We had a wonderful time away and it was just what we needed. Thank you so much ☺️ we are hoping to return with the kids in the near future.

A top tip we would give is to bring some sliders for the shower so you don’t have to walk on the chippings.

  when we arrived the grill hut was open and ready for us to make ourselves at home. the grill hut is super cosy and even given the "lovely" British weather... read more (rain and wind) it didn't disrupt our stay at all. if anything it made it better. snuggled up by the fire pit.
the animals are super friendly and very characteristic. hope the lil brown alpaca gets well soon though x
making pizzas was a lovely little touch and really fun to do together.
we enjoyed a lovely local walk with beautiful scenery.
and probably one of the best nights sleep we had.
