The... read more firepit is so novel, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the evening, cooking and playing board games. A time to chill together. The animals are great to feed . And Jess & Lee are so helpful and friendly.
Great area to visit the local brewery and tap room. We would also recommend the Smokehouse shop at Glasson Dock to buy good quality meats, and fish to cook on the firepit. A summer stay is our next plan. Thankyou for a wonderful time.

The cabin itself was even better than the pictures! The indoor grill made it extra cozy, and we loved the pizza package—baking our own pizzas in the outdoor oven was such a fun experience. Another highlight was the animals. My fiancée loves alpacas, so we were happy to see goats, sheep, and chickens too. Jessica, the owner, even gave us food to feed them, which made it even more special.

Check-out was smooth, and even though we left a little later, it wasn’t a problem. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing stay—perfect for escaping the city. We’d love to come back!

Great shower and bathroom/kitchen facilities with hot running water and flushing toilet. We had an amazing weekend.

The location is beautiful and the countryside view is stunning. Definitely make time to visit the local Ice Cream Parlour, which has a cafe as well as takeaway. If you are looking for shopping, maybe give Blackpool a go, we drove to Lancaster and the drive was lovely but the city centre was disappointing. We also tried to get a taxi to the pub recommended by Jessica, but we’re too far out for them to pick us up, so make sure you have a designated driver.

We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! The complimentary beers and marshmallows were a lovely touch and tasted good, plus was nice knowing the beer was locally made.

Good amenities and I loved the fact the wc and shower were outside. A good shower to which I didn’t expect.

The best part, even though the hut was amazing was the animals. Especially when my partner got spat at by a alpaca, I’ve seen it all now lol
