We had the best time. From our trip to fill up on all the meats from countrystyle farm shop in Lancaster, to watching the rugby at farm yard ales and of course feeding the Alpacas. It was perfect and we will absolutely be making it a tradition to come every year. ❤️

We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! Lee and Jess were friendly hosts without being intrusive. The little extras they provided were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The hut has everything you need for a weekend break. The flushing toilet and outdoor, electric shower had great pressure and worked perfectly. Both are enclosed and the shower is a generous size so perfect for tall guests. Cleanliness is brilliant and there was everything you should need to feel covid safe.
Feeding the Alpaca and the other animals further added to the charm of our stay and I can only imagine that children would adore having resident animals during their holiday.
We had the most enchanting time and the lovely memories of Sandvilla and the grill hut will stay with us forever ♥

It is fairly isolated but was exactly what we were looking for.

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

  Lovely stay out in the country. Hut/shower kitchen area very clean.. I am a light sleeper so could hear traffic initially but once I put earplugs in it... read more was fine and it wasn’t a busy road. Would suggest you need a car if you want to get about as there are no paths on the side of the road so not safe to walk. Just a note that you need to bring towels for showering as the literature said towels provided but it’s tea and hand towels only. Jessica was very kind though and loaned us a couple. Lovely brewery a short drive away and of course the alpacas, sheep and chickens were entertaining. It just felt very relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

  Booked this location for my Partners birthday. Easy to find, extremely cosy and comfy. Greeted with a great view! Definitely fun feeding the alpacas, goats and other animals.

  Sandvilla Gril hut is truly a magical and incredible experience. Jessica and Lee are such wonderful and accommodating hosts. We couldn’t have had a better time if we tried! Everything... read more about this place is perfect, the hut it’s self is so cosy and beautifully decorated, the open fire for cooking is so much fun to us and the cookbooks provided were extremely helpful and lead to excellent nacho making! Although you are on a campsite the whole experience felt so private and secluded, feeding the alpacas was brilliant they are so friendly! Lee and Jess really have thought of everything to make the stay truly wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.

Again everything has been thought of all you need is food, towels and clothes and you wouldn’t need to leave the hut. It’s beautiful and warm relaxing and beautiful furnished highly recommend for a romantic couple get away or like us if your family is staying in the Belle tent brilliant family getaway. We went for a lovely walk at the local nature reserve aswell which was nice but there’s plenty to do local otherwise relax and just enjoy the animals feeding the alpacas was one of the highlights of our stay thanks again for a great visit we will be back for sure x
