We loved the firepit being inside... read more and made it so cosy of an evening, will have to come stay again when it's colder (who knew complaining about the lovely sunny weekend weather we had would feature!!!)
It you get chance to visit Farm Yard Brew Co. it's walking distance and just great.
We enjoyed feeding the alpacas before we left too.

We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! We had the best time. From our trip to fill up on all the meats from countrystyle farm shop in Lancaster, to watching the rugby at farm yard ales and of course feeding the Alpacas. It was perfect and we will absolutely be making it a tradition to come every year. ❤️

We didn’t have cash... read more but Jess provided bank details so it wasn’t an issue. We were wondering what we would need to take but there is everything you need to cook and the shower was better than most hotels I have stayed in. There is an under counter fridge to store plenty of food and drinks. Feeding the llamas was a blast and feed was provided on arrival. Thank you Jess, will definitely be back! 😊

The complimentary beers and marshmallows were a lovely touch and tasted good, plus was nice knowing the beer was locally made.

Good amenities and I loved the fact the wc and shower were outside. A good shower to which I didn’t expect.

The best part, even though the hut was amazing was the animals. Especially when my partner got spat at by a alpaca, I’ve seen it all now lol

  This was our second visit to Sand Villa Grill Hut. It was even better then we remembered, my partner and I loved it so much last year that this year... read more he chose it to propose to me there. The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. Thank you to Jess and Lee for being such wonderful and friendly hosts.

  where to start with such a good weekend away, before we had even got to the hut I asked Jessica for some help to get some flowers for my girlfriend,... read more she hooked me up with a florist and even collected the flowers and placed them in the hut with no extra fee! Jessica also left some nibbles on the bed and wine on the side which is just what we needed after the long drive.
The check in was easy and no contact with the host was needed, althought a pack with everything we needed to know was in the hut waiting for us (this contained contact info, local amenities, takeout menus and much more)
The hut itself was immaculate, with cute decor and fairy lights that set the mood for any occasion.
The hut can get cold at night but soon warms up with the electric heater and/or the fire pit (which you can also BBQ on!!)
Overall we had an amazing stay.
finally Jess noticed my gf had left her rings in the hut and has arranged for them to be posted back to us with no fee... what an amazing host 🙂

The grill hut is fantastic if you want to do your own BBQ or make your own pizza's !
This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

Lee and Jess were friendly hosts without being intrusive. The little extras they provided were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The hut has everything you need for a weekend break. The flushing toilet and outdoor, electric shower had great pressure and worked perfectly. Both are enclosed and the shower is a generous size so perfect for tall guests. Cleanliness is brilliant and there was everything you should need to feel covid safe.
Feeding the Alpaca and the other animals further added to the charm of our stay and I can only imagine that children would adore having resident animals during their holiday.
We had the most enchanting time and the lovely memories of Sandvilla and the grill hut will stay with us forever ♥
