Gorgeous BBQ grill hut with double bed, seating and grill entertainment areas, set in a wooded area on our smallholding.
Family Pod
This is our biggest pod, it has ample space inside for a family of 4-6, with a double bed, bunk beds, and sofa bed.
Touring Pitches
We have three hard standing, gravel touring pitches available for motorhomes and caravans on our beautiful family small hold.

Cannot fault this place at all it had everything you may need down to the T. The fire pit was amazing better in person and we cooked steaks we bought locally the first night on the open fire and hired a pizza oven from Jess on the second night where we made garlic bread and margarita pizzas. So quiet and private considering the location and what else is around you. The outdoor swing is lovely I had a bacon bun and a brew in the morning sat on the swing!! Also the shower is second to none definitely an amazing experience to try.

We looked forward to feeding the alpacas Evey day, and made use of the little "Shop", bringing home some alpaca wool for 50p! Very welcomed relaxing break. Would recommend to anyone.

The grill hut is simply amazing!
Lee and Jess were friendly hosts without being intrusive. The little extras they provided were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The hut has everything you need for a weekend break. The flushing toilet and outdoor, electric shower had great pressure and worked perfectly. Both are enclosed and the shower is a generous size so perfect for tall guests. Cleanliness is brilliant and there was everything you should need to feel covid safe.
Feeding the Alpaca and the other animals further added to the charm of our stay and I can only imagine that children would adore having resident animals during their holiday.
We had the most enchanting time and the lovely memories of Sandvilla and the grill hut will stay with us forever ♥

We felt welcomed from the... read more start, left some lovely extras and the hut was spotless and cosy. We had an explore, fed the goats and checked out the pub pod (a lovely extra touch). We then made our pizzas, ate them outside and then wondered back to the pub pod to sit outside, play some games & watch the sun set. We then went back to the hut, lit the fire and relaxed. We slept well and felt refreshed the next day. We enjoyed our breakfast outside & had a slow morning before getting ready to leave.
We had a wonderful time away and it was just what we needed. Thank you so much ☺️ we are hoping to return with the kids in the near future.
A top tip we would give is to bring some sliders for the shower so you don’t have to walk on the chippings.

It you get chance to visit Farm Yard Brew Co. it's walking distance and just great.
We enjoyed feeding the alpacas before we left too.

Again everything has been thought of all you need is food, towels and clothes and you wouldn’t need to leave the hut. It’s beautiful and warm relaxing and beautiful furnished highly recommend for a romantic couple get away or like us if your family is staying in the Belle tent brilliant family getaway. We went for a lovely walk at the local nature reserve aswell which was nice but there’s plenty to do local otherwise relax and just enjoy the animals feeding the alpacas was one of the highlights of our stay thanks again for a great visit we will be back for sure x

Luxury Glamping Experience…
Sandvilla Stays is located just outside the village of Cockerham and the village sits on the coastal planes south of Lancaster where the River Lune meets the Irish Sea.
We are on the doorstep to The Lake District and ideally situated for exploring the Fylde Coast and Yorkshire Dales. The Lancashire coastal way passes through Cockerham hosting great walks and cycle routes.
On our smallholding we have alpacas, sheep and chickens and guests are welcome to help feed them.
Our small glamping site is made up of 3 hard standing pitches and 3 glamping units. Our pitches are fully serviced and exclusively for Camping and Caravanning Club Members (yearly membership from £45 – see here for details).
We have 3 unique glamping experiences for you and your families, each unit is set within its own private area and all units have electric, heating, private toilets/showers and much more.
You might want to get back to nature in our Scandinavian style grill hut, which hosts an indoor fire pit for cooking and entertaining.
Or for a little bit more luxury book into one of our 2 pods and enjoy an outdoor hot bath looking out at the alpacas.
With a great communal playing space in our field for the children we hope you can sit back relax and enjoy switching off.
