We loved sitting by the fire and cooking our tea over it. We got the pizza package on one night and I really recommend it - delicious pizzas, good fun and definitely worth paying extra for. Jess was a brilliant host, super friendly and very responsive. Can't wait to find an excuse to come and stay again!

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

  Quirky hut with the fire at the end of the bed a nice touch. Luckily with the British Summer we had a need to use the fire. It is fairly isolated but was exactly what we were looking for.

A lovely and peaceful location, we visited Wallings Ice Cream, The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre to watch a film and to The Cartford Inn for a delicious dinner- all within a short half hour drive.

  when we arrived the grill hut was open and ready for us to make ourselves at home. the grill hut is super cosy and even given the "lovely" British weather... read more (rain and wind) it didn't disrupt our stay at all. if anything it made it better. snuggled up by the fire pit.
the animals are super friendly and very characteristic. hope the lil brown alpaca gets well soon though x
making pizzas was a lovely little touch and really fun to do together.
we enjoyed a lovely local walk with beautiful scenery.
and probably one of the best nights sleep we had.

We had the best time. From our trip to fill up on all the meats from countrystyle farm shop in Lancaster, to watching the rugby at farm yard ales and of course feeding the Alpacas. It was perfect and we will absolutely be making it a tradition to come every year. ❤️
