Located on what is essentially a caravan park. Busy, noisy road which kept us up for most of the night. No real communication beforehand without prompts, but check-in was pretty... read more straightforward. Some of the reviews mentioned pizza etc and we were not offered any of these options. It was basically a warmer, comfier option to camping for us. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a 4.5 hour drive for us, so we had hoped for better, but we made the best of it.

The lancaster Brewery was so great too, treating ourselves to some amazing beers. We visited Blackpool for a day, then the Lake District, driving through Hardknots Pass... That was a bit hairy. We cooked delicious steaks, alabama pork shops and coffee and pepper chicken skewers all from the Lancaster butchers. Enjoyed beers and Gin by the fire and ate outside at the little table. Fabulous stay, very relaxing, cozy and we were lucky to have the weather too! We would recommend this place in a flash. Thank you Jess and Lee.

The complimentary beers and marshmallows were a lovely touch and tasted good, plus was nice knowing the beer was locally made.
Good amenities and I loved the fact the wc and shower were outside. A good shower to which I didn’t expect.
The best part, even though the hut was amazing was the animals. Especially when my partner got spat at by a alpaca, I’ve seen it all now lol

We had a lovely stay in the Hut and all the little touches were greatly appreciated.
It was a first for myself and my partner when it came to feeding... read more animals but we really enjoyed ourselves.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side the night we arrived as it would have been nice to chill outside a bit more than what we got chance to... But that's the UK for you!
Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay away for a couple of nights. The hut had everything that we needed and the stay was as advertised/expected.
Only slight negative, for me, was the road noise as it wasn't as remote as what I had imagined and I'm a light sleeper. However, my partner slept brilliantly and didn't hear a thing!
The place is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sweet little staycation for a night or so.
