Grill Hut
Gorgeous BBQ grill hut with double bed, seating and grill entertainment areas, set in a wooded area on our smallholding.
Family Pod
This is our biggest pod, it has ample space inside for a family of 4-6, with a double bed, bunk beds, and sofa bed.
Touring Pitches
We have three hard standing, gravel touring pitches available for motorhomes and caravans on our beautiful family small hold.

The hut had everything we needed, feeding the alpacas was great fun and Jess and Lee were great hosts. The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.
The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.
Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the Grill Hut for 2 nights. It was our first trip since the whole Covid thing. I can honestly say it was perfect. Jess and her family... read more were all lovely and welcoming, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hut had everything you needed. Feeding the alpacas, sheep n chickens was a joy, they're all very tame which I'm sure anyone with young family's would love.
We're hoping to visit again very soon.

What a quaint place to stay, so beautiful and romantic. The decoration above the bed at the sleeping end of the hut is amazing. We loved the firepit being inside... read more and made it so cosy of an evening, will have to come stay again when it's colder (who knew complaining about the lovely sunny weekend weather we had would feature!!!)
It you get chance to visit Farm Yard Brew Co. it's walking distance and just great.
We enjoyed feeding the alpacas before we left too.

Jessica was an amazing host, offered early check in, made sure we had everything... read more we needed for the stay and even left some complimentary ales from the local brewery!
The hut was clean, cosy and warm, even though the rain barely stopped on our second day!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique getaway.

Located on what is essentially a caravan park. Busy, noisy road which kept us up for most of the night. No real communication beforehand without prompts, but check-in was pretty... read more straightforward. Some of the reviews mentioned pizza etc and we were not offered any of these options. It was basically a warmer, comfier option to camping for us. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a 4.5 hour drive for us, so we had hoped for better, but we made the best of it.

We visited the butchers at Lancaster Leisure Park, along with the 40,000sq... read more ft of antiques and collectables place. The lancaster Brewery was so great too, treating ourselves to some amazing beers. We visited Blackpool for a day, then the Lake District, driving through Hardknots Pass... That was a bit hairy. And we went to Morecombe Bay in an evening. The alpacas/sheep and chickens were so funny and great to feed. We cooked delicious steaks, alabama pork shops and coffee and pepper chicken skewers all from the Lancaster butchers. Enjoyed beers and Gin by the fire and ate outside at the little table. Fabulous stay, very relaxing, cozy and we were lucky to have the weather too! We would recommend this place in a flash. Thank you Jess and Lee.

Luxury Glamping Experience…
Sandvilla Stays is located just outside the village of Cockerham and the village sits on the coastal planes south of Lancaster where the River Lune meets the Irish Sea.
We are on the doorstep to The Lake District and ideally situated for exploring the Fylde Coast and Yorkshire Dales. The Lancashire coastal way passes through Cockerham hosting great walks and cycle routes.
On our smallholding we have alpacas, sheep and chickens and guests are welcome to help feed them.
Our small glamping site is made up of 3 hard standing pitches and 3 glamping units. Our pitches are fully serviced and exclusively for Camping and Caravanning Club Members (yearly membership from £45 – see here for details).
We have 3 unique glamping experiences for you and your families, each unit is set within its own private area and all units have electric, heating, private toilets/showers and much more.
You might want to get back to nature in our Scandinavian style grill hut, which hosts an indoor fire pit for cooking and entertaining.
Or for a little bit more luxury book into one of our 2 pods and enjoy an outdoor hot bath looking out at the alpacas.
With a great communal playing space in our field for the children we hope you can sit back relax and enjoy switching off.
