  where to start with such a good weekend away, before we had even got to the hut I asked Jessica for some help to get some flowers for my girlfriend,... read more she hooked me up with a florist and even collected the flowers and placed them in the hut with no extra fee! Jessica also left some nibbles on the bed and wine on the side which is just what we needed after the long drive.
The check in was easy and no contact with the host was needed, althought a pack with everything we needed to know was in the hut waiting for us (this contained contact info, local amenities, takeout menus and much more)
The hut itself was immaculate, with cute decor and fairy lights that set the mood for any occasion.
The hut can get cold at night but soon warms up with the electric heater and/or the fire pit (which you can also BBQ on!!)
Overall we had an amazing stay.
finally Jess noticed my gf had left her rings in the hut and has arranged for them to be posted back to us with no fee... what an amazing host 🙂

But if you just want relax and fall alseep with a logs burning in a cosy little hut .... then this place is for you !
The grill hut is fantastic if you want to do your own BBQ or make your own pizza's !
This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

Everything... read more about this place is perfect, the hut it’s self is so cosy and beautifully decorated, the open fire for cooking is so much fun to us and the cookbooks provided were extremely helpful and lead to excellent nacho making! Although you are on a campsite the whole experience felt so private and secluded, feeding the alpacas was brilliant they are so friendly! Lee and Jess really have thought of everything to make the stay truly wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.

The cabin itself was even better than the pictures! The indoor grill made it extra cozy, and we loved the pizza package—baking our own pizzas in the outdoor oven was such a fun experience. Another highlight was the animals. My fiancée loves alpacas, so we were happy to see goats, sheep, and chickens too. Jessica, the owner, even gave us food to feed them, which made it even more special.

Check-out was smooth, and even though we left a little later, it wasn’t a problem. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing stay—perfect for escaping the city. We’d love to come back!

  Wow, just home from this magical little place. Everything is considered and there is not one thing we would change about the experience. Such a great location for exploring, we... read more managed to fit in a farm trip (Greenland’s Farm Village - where you can feed pigs, goats and ponies) a coastal walk (Silverdale - untouched beauty) and the local brewery (Farmyard Ales), not to mention feeding the alpacas (on-site!) but the highlight really is the hut itself. In here you could be anywhere in the world, such a perfect escape. We are already planning our next visit!

It is fairly isolated but was exactly what we were looking for.

We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! The accommodation is very well equipped & the 'pre-arrival' information is very informative & useful. The owners were very obliging although they have covered everything so there was very little need to disturb them. Feeding the animals was an added treasure.
