Sand Villa Stays is in a small quiet site with just three hard standing caravan and motorhome pitches. There are rolling views across the lush fields where the alpacas roam and you can experience stunning sunsets over Morecambe Bay.
Guests can enjoy the use of our small field to relax, feed the animals or sit around the fire pit. The secure area also provides a safe space for children to freely roam and play with our shared outdoor toys.
Situated only 6 miles off the M6, Sandvilla is an ideal stopover for travellers heading long distances North and South
Pets can be exercised on the field but must be always kept on the lead. The field area is closed during the months of November to March as our livestock use the area to graze.
Motorhomes and caravans must be self contained as we have no communal toilet or shower facilities. There is no direct access to the beach from the site, the road outside is quite fast with no footpath. The beach and footpaths are within a 5 minute drive.
A little bit more about our smallholding…
Sand Villa Stays is located just outside the village of Cockerham. The village sits on the coastal planes south of Lancaster where the River Lune meets the Irish Sea.
We are on the doorstep to The Lake District and ideally situated for exploring the Fylde Coast and Yorkshire Dales. The Lancashire coastal way passes through Cockerham hosting great walks and cycle routes.
On our smallholding we have alpacas, sheep and chickens and guests are welcome to help feed them.
Our beautiful belle tent offers the perfect glamping experience, its very cosy and has a double bed and two singles, there is also a sheltered outdoor kitchen area with wood burning stove.
The gorgeous BBQ grill hut has a double bed, in and outdoor seating area, and grill entertainment area set in its own wooded area.
The grill hut and belle tent both have a private toilet, shower and utility sink block with hot water, all of this is situated in a very peaceful green space surrounded by fields, animals and amazing views across Morecambe Bay.
