Everything... read more about this place is perfect, the hut it’s self is so cosy and beautifully decorated, the open fire for cooking is so much fun to us and the cookbooks provided were extremely helpful and lead to excellent nacho making! Although you are on a campsite the whole experience felt so private and secluded, feeding the alpacas was brilliant they are so friendly! Lee and Jess really have thought of everything to make the stay truly wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.

  The place grill hunt was better than what we were expected, Jess also provided us lot of nice treats, we had a really good time really recommend it.

We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip!   Booked this location for my Partners birthday. Easy to find, extremely cosy and comfy. Greeted with a great view! Definitely fun feeding the alpacas, goats and other animals.

Loved it, and more importantly so did my son!

We had the best time. From our trip to fill up on all the meats from countrystyle farm shop in Lancaster, to watching the rugby at farm yard ales and of course feeding the Alpacas. It was perfect and we will absolutely be making it a tradition to come every year. ❤️

We enjoyed a... read more nice walk for an amazing Thai in pilling for one evening and went to the Farm Yard Brew Co for a lovely Greek meal the other evening. It is fairly isolated but was exactly what we were looking for.

  We stayed at the Grill Hut for 2 nights. It was our first trip since the whole Covid thing. I can honestly say it was perfect. Jess and her family... read more were all lovely and welcoming, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hut had everything you needed. Feeding the alpacas, sheep n chickens was a joy, they're all very tame which I'm sure anyone with young family's would love.
We're hoping to visit again very soon.

But if you just want relax and fall alseep with a logs burning in a cosy little hut .... then this place is for you !
The grill hut is fantastic if you want to do your own BBQ or make your own pizza's !
This place has So much to offer and the hosts are great ! If yoi need anything they are available... if you are happy with everything then just enjoy the wonderful grill hut and the peaceful settings it has to offer.

We... read more loved that the ceiling was painted as the night sky, and the fairy lights twinkling with the fire in the evening. Great shower and bathroom/kitchen facilities with hot running water and flushing toilet. We had an amazing weekend.

The location is beautiful and the countryside view is stunning. Definitely make time to visit the local Ice Cream Parlour, which has a cafe as well as takeaway. If you are looking for shopping, maybe give Blackpool a go, we drove to Lancaster and the drive was lovely but the city centre was disappointing. We also tried to get a taxi to the pub recommended by Jessica, but we’re too far out for them to pick us up, so make sure you have a designated driver.
