  The most gorgeous little escape from reality, allowing us to spend some much needed quality time together, away from the distractions of life! We cannot recommend the Grill Hut enough!... read more Being able to cosy up inside with a starlit sky painted above the bed and a roaring fire was just perfect! We were able to cook delicious food and keep warm by the fire, even when it was pouring down outside. The hut has everything you could need, with cute games and thoughtful touches to amazing quality fire wood/charcoal and brilliant surprises from Jess! Flexible check in and check out is the best thing and allowed us to stay in bed for a couple more blissful hours before checking out! We can’t wait to be back and are already planning our next trip! The place was spotless, facilities were amazing and Jessica was always at hand to answer any questions we had. We spent lots of time at the alpaca field feeding them and they were just beautiful. Put all that together with amazing hosts who would go the extra mile to make their guests happy (especially Hattie, who welcomed us and showed us around) makes this place the best we’ve ever stayed at. We will definitely book again and cannot recommend enough!

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

  Wonderful hut with wonderful hosts. Such beautiful surroundings and very comfortable.

  where to start with such a good weekend away, before we had even got to the hut I asked Jessica for some help to get some flowers for my girlfriend,... read more she hooked me up with a florist and even collected the flowers and placed them in the hut with no extra fee! Jessica also left some nibbles on the bed and wine on the side which is just what we needed after the long drive.
The check in was easy and no contact with the host was needed, althought a pack with everything we needed to know was in the hut waiting for us (this contained contact info, local amenities, takeout menus and much more)
The hut itself was immaculate, with cute decor and fairy lights that set the mood for any occasion.
The hut can get cold at night but soon warms up with the electric heater and/or the fire pit (which you can also BBQ on!!)
Overall we had an amazing stay.
finally Jess noticed my gf had left her rings in the hut and has arranged for them to be posted back to us with no fee... what an amazing host 🙂

The location was fantastic as it wasn’t to far from the local tourist attractions. We can’t recommend enough

  Located on what is essentially a caravan park. Busy, noisy road which kept us up for most of the night. No real communication beforehand without prompts, but check-in was pretty... read more straightforward. Some of the reviews mentioned pizza etc and we were not offered any of these options. It was basically a warmer, comfier option to camping for us. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a 4.5 hour drive for us, so we had hoped for better, but we made the best of it.

The only downside for us was it being next to a road (which we didn't realise when booking). Although this isnt a busy main road, it becomes busier around rush hour first thing in the morning and again later on, and so we were woken up by traffic. As we live on a main road we wanted something a bit quieter in the mornings. But thank you for everything! Would recommend.

The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. Thank you to Jess and Lee for being such wonderful and friendly hosts.
