The lancaster Brewery was so great too, treating ourselves to some amazing beers. We visited Blackpool for a day, then the Lake District, driving through Hardknots Pass... That was a bit hairy. And we went to Morecombe Bay in an evening. The alpacas/sheep and chickens were so funny and great to feed. We cooked delicious steaks, alabama pork shops and coffee and pepper chicken skewers all from the Lancaster butchers. Enjoyed beers and Gin by the fire and ate outside at the little table. Fabulous stay, very relaxing, cozy and we were lucky to have the weather too! We would recommend this place in a flash. Thank you Jess and Lee.

The Grill hut is such a magical, fairy tale stay, complete with all the amenities you need for a glamping holiday. Located in a beautiful part of the country. We would highly recommend hiring the pizza oven for the evening as this provided great entertainment and food at a very reasonable price. We used the bus just outside the site to get to Lancaster and had a fab time there on the second day, the bus was quick and easy to use. We can’t wait to book again next year. The accommodation is very well equipped & the 'pre-arrival' information is very informative & useful. The owners were very obliging although they have covered everything so there was very little need to disturb them. Feeding the animals was an added treasure.   Lovely stay out in the country. Hut/shower kitchen area very clean.. I am a light sleeper so could hear traffic initially but once I put earplugs in it... read more was fine and it wasn’t a busy road. Would suggest you need a car if you want to get about as there are no paths on the side of the road so not safe to walk. Just a note that you need to bring towels for showering as the literature said towels provided but it’s tea and hand towels only. Jessica was very kind though and loaned us a couple. Lovely brewery a short drive away and of course the alpacas, sheep and chickens were entertaining. It just felt very relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The space itself is lovely. The view from the hut is beautiful. The bed is super comfy and the fire is such an added benefit. Really enjoyed making s’mores on the fire.

The location is brilliant. Close to all the places we wanted to be. Lots of walks around.
Feeding the alpacas was also an added benefit.

Would definitely recommend as we really enjoyed our stay.

We... read more loved that the ceiling was painted as the night sky, and the fairy lights twinkling with the fire in the evening. Great shower and bathroom/kitchen facilities with hot running water and flushing toilet. We had an amazing weekend.

The location is beautiful and the countryside view is stunning. Definitely make time to visit the local Ice Cream Parlour, which has a cafe as well as takeaway. If you are looking for shopping, maybe give Blackpool a go, we drove to Lancaster and the drive was lovely but the city centre was disappointing. We also tried to get a taxi to the pub recommended by Jessica, but we’re too far out for them to pick us up, so make sure you have a designated driver.

  Wow, just home from this magical little place. Everything is considered and there is not one thing we would change about the experience. Such a great location for exploring, we... read more managed to fit in a farm trip (Greenland’s Farm Village - where you can feed pigs, goats and ponies) a coastal walk (Silverdale - untouched beauty) and the local brewery (Farmyard Ales), not to mention feeding the alpacas (on-site!) but the highlight really is the hut itself. In here you could be anywhere in the world, such a perfect escape. We are already planning our next visit!
